Binmile played a key role in enhancing IVMS. The team worked on prototyping, bug fixing, and the development of new features that included the portal dashboard, configurations, Geo-PDF generation and module development.

 

IVMS empowers organizations to efficiently plan, optimize, and execute their vegetation management strategies, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency. IVMS provides the unique ability to optimize vegetation management programs years in advance, enhancing the effectiveness of both pre- and post-trim inspections. The intuitive dashboard developed by Binmile’s team of developers served as a central hub, where real-time data on green vegetation areas at high risk of fire was monitored. Using satellite technology, IVMS triggers alarms to notify stakeholders, including fire brigades and forest departments, ensuring swift and informed responses to potential disasters. The portal dashboard provided real-time data visualization, monitoring, and alerts for vegetation risks, helping stakeholders make informed decisions promptly.

 

Binmile developed a feature to generate Geo-PDFs using Python, allowing users to download the entire map with all its safety layers and visualize circuit lines on maps offline, enhancing data analysis capabilities.The PDF could then be shared with others to collaborate and make better safety decisions. The result was a  more robust and capable system for vegetation risk assessment and management using React-map-gl and Mapbox API. 

 

As an extended support service, Binmile customized IVMS to meet the specific requirements of the company. This included configuring the product, enabling features as per client needs, and adding extra functionalities as per individual client requirements.

User-Centric Website Development with Advanced Technologies

Binmile undertook the comprehensive development and maintenance of the client’s website, employing an impressive array of cutting-edge tools and technologies to ensure a top-tier user experience and effective communication of IVMS capabilities. The website, developed using Python, was skillfully enhanced with a responsive and dynamic front-end crafted using React, Redux, and Material UI, offering users an intuitive and visually appealing interface.

 

Furthermore, the implementation of AWS services, along with TypeScript, Prettier, and Lodash, ensured robust performance, scalability, and data processing capabilities. The website was meticulously optimized for speed and reliability, meeting the highest industry standards.

 

Binmile also incorporated Devextreme for data visualization and reporting, enabling clients to easily access critical insights and analytics. The integration of a Content Management System (CMS) facilitated effortless content updates and maintenance, ensuring that the website remained current and informative.

Navigating the uncharted territory of satellite data was a significant challenge our team faced. Our team grappled with the complexities of managing, filtering, and adapting data source to ensure it was seamlessly integrated and reusable within IVMS. Additionally, when Binmile’s developers initially engaged with the project, the AI components were still immature and needed a lot more training to be able to get desirable predictions. 

 

Over time, our analysts diligently updated the AI models with an extensive dataset encompassing incident cases and historical information. This iterative process significantly improved the system’s predictive capabilities, particularly in assessing the probability of a disaster in specific areas. By analyzing a decade’s worth of historical data, IVMS could identify areas with a consistent history of fire incidents, enabling proactive vegetation management to mitigate potential risks, both before and after disaster strikes.
