Enhancing the Experience: Designing An Intuitive User Interface to Boost Visitor Engagement

Supporting Mahindra Finance to Design A Customer Panel for Online FD Opening

Mahindra Finance was considering expanding its services to ensure business growth. They wanted to enable their customers to open FD online without the need to visit the branch. To ensure this, they first created the Figma design of the customer panel for online FD opening and providing loans against FD. Since the design was solely focused on Fixed Deposits, users can see how much money they invested a few years ago, what its value is today and the total amount they will get after maturity.

Apart from that, users can open multiple FDs, pre-close their FDs, renew their FDs, transfer their FDs, add or change nominees, update profiles, and check the status of their FD, like KYC pending, payment pending, maturity stage, and active/closed. The client was looking to collaborate with an experienced software development partner who could turn their design into reality. That’s when they approached Binmile for this task and our team designed the UI/UX of the FD portal based on the Figma design provided by Mahindra Finance. Thus, developing a feature-rich FD portal helped the client increase its service reach beyond geographical boundaries, resulting in aggressive business growth.

Helping Mahindra Finance Sort Out Graph Issues to Ensure Better Viewing Experience

The client had a smooth-running application to deliver their financial products and services to customers. Since the app was experiencing a low visitor count for some time, the client was concerned about the impact on sales clearly evident in their analytics. That compelled them to transform the UI/UX of the application to gain more attention. As it was a creative job, they preferred collaborating with Binmile to get this task done. The developers at Binmile are so experienced that they created an excellent yet engaging user interface for the client while facing some issues with dynamic and responsive graph accommodation. The issue was that whenever the users were adding data for graph generation, it was getting ripped and not appearing responsive. To fix this issue, we checked Canva, changed CSS, and added some JavaScript code, resulting in an eye-catching and user-friendly design for prospective visitors.

Our client was willing to enhance engagement on their application to a great extent. For that, they created animated effects, which they asked us to add to their application. The Binmile developers did it effortlessly by performing custom coding in CSS for animations. As a result, users’ engagement with the application improved which led to increased conversions.

Meeting Mahindra Finance’s Expectations to Make Their Application Responsive

In order to target a massive audience group, including Android, iOS, and Windows smartphone users, our client requested us to make their application responsive. While working on it, certain elements were getting distorted, such as graphs, images, and logos on a few devices. Also, MF representatives wanted the card section to always appear in the center. To address their concern, the team of Binmile developers aligned the grid centrally and ensured everything appeared in order. Apart from that, the overall code was also optimized and no extra CSS was used, delivering a better experience using fewer codes.
